Mrs. Laframboise

Mrs. Laframboise My name is Carolyn Laframboise.  I am blessed to have been teaching at Abner Gibbs for my entire teaching career. I graduated from Westfield State College in 1997 with a degree in Elementary Education and Sociology with a concentration in Social Work. A few years later I received my master’s degree in Elementary Education and have completed much coursework beyond that.  My ultimate goal is to motivate our children to become respectful, responsible individuals and help them develop a lifelong love of learning. To get them there, it helps to have a  strong home/school connection. Open communication and a good working relationship between parent, teacher, and student is key. I want your child to LOVE coming to school each day and be proud of what they accomplish here.

This year your child will have two teachers because 3rd grade is “departmentalized”. This means Mrs. Goyette will teach Reading & Writing and I will teach Math & Science/Social Studies. Your child will have one of us for homeroom and switch between us for the rest of their daily lessons. We will also work very closely with Mrs. Leduc and Mrs. Byrne using a team approach to meet the needs of each student.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email at Mrs. Laframboise or phone, 413-572-6418.

We are going to have a WONDERFUL year in 3rd  grade!
