PTO Meeting Minutes
"Soaring to Success"
November 15, 4:30-5:30 in the Abner Gibbs Library
All parents/guardians of Abner Gibbs students and staff members of Abner Gibbs are part of the PTO and are invited to attend meetings and provide assistance, in any way, to the PTO and our Abner Gibbs community.
Our Objectives are:
To enhance the educational experiences of the children attending Abner Gibbs Elementary
To encourage parents/guardians, teachers, relatives and friends of Abner Gibbs to support the PTO and its purpose in an active and constructive manner
To support teaching staff by giving volunteer assistance
To help provide communication between parents and school faculty
To keep parents/guardians and teachers informed of PTO activities and financial status by means of newsletters and the school website
We also collect Labels for Education. Please send those in with your child as well. We thank you for your support!
Notice of PTO meetings are sent home in advance with your child. Normally the PTO meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Please look for future meeting dates being sent home. Childcare is available. We look forward to having you join us.
