Mrs. Goyette

Mrs. Goyette
Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Goyette

Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Mrs. Goyette. This is my 25th year teaching. I completed my master’s degree in Elementary Education at Westfield State University.  I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. I’m married, have two college age daughters, and a sweet dog named Louie!

Your child will have two teachers because 3rd grade is “departmentalized”. This means I will teach Reading & Writing and Mrs. Laframboise will teach Math & Science/Social Studies. Your child will have one of us for homeroom and switch between us for the rest of their daily lessons. We will also work very closely with Mrs. Leduc and Mrs. Byrne using a team approach to meet the needs of each student. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email or phone. We are going to have a WONDERFUL year in 3rd  grade! I look forward to working with you to make your child’s school year a rewarding and positive experience.

My Educational Philosophy

I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring and positive environment in which to learn and grow. It is my goal to provide a learning environment where students take risks, make mistakes, work hard and try to do better each day.

"We must remember that intelligence is not enough. Intelligence plus character; that is the goal of true education." --Martin Luther King Jr.
